Summary

Run a focused validation pass on Phokus with large libraries and slower/external drives.

Scope

  • Validate fresh index behavior on a large folder
  • Validate reindex behavior after file adds/removes/changes
  • Validate video poster generation end-to-end
  • Validate video metadata extraction end-to-end
  • Confirm active-folder UI remains responsive during indexing
  • Identify any remaining bottlenecks worth fixing before embeddings

This issue is about verification, regressions, and final tuning for the media-processing phase.
